The Department of Zoology, PDUAM-Behali in association with Pabhoi Fish Farm organised a two-day workshop on induced fish breeding at Pabhoi Fish Farm. The farm is registered network hatchery under NFDB-NFFBB, Govt. of India. Mr. Bhargav Kr. Bhagawati, the Managing Director of the farm was the resource person of this workshop, who taught both theoretical and practical aspects of induced fish breeding. Mr. Bhagawati has extensive knowledge and experience in fish breeding and taught participants not just about induced fish breeding of different carps as well as Magur fishes, Chitol and Pavo but also about related topics such as feeding habits, growth patterns and more. The workshop was highly beneficial for all participants as they got an opportunity to learn about this advanced technique first hand.
