The Department of Mathematics was started as one of the eight Department with two faculty members and thirteen major students. At present the Department has three faculty members. In addition to the regular teaching, the faculty members of the department are extensively engaged in quality research works with publications in reputed national and international journals. The faculty members also have Ph.D guideship and projects to their credit.
The Department offers a broad and challenging academic program that provides quality higher education compatible to the one available in best institutes in the Country.
