The Department of English has been started with the inception of the college in 2017. Since the beginning, the department has been trying to cater to the students belonging to culturally and linguistically heterogeneous backgrounds. Its motto is to help the students imbibe the practical and functional language skills and use English in day-to-day affairs rather than just academics. Making a sensitization drive over burning issues like environmental degradation and inspiring students to be a good citizen are other thrust areas that the department aspires and tries to work on.
