The Environment Cell, in association with the Departments of Zoology and Botany and IQAC, PDUAM, Behali, successfully organized the Celebration of World Biodiversity Day 2026 on 22 May 2026 at the Conference Hall of the college. The programme was conducted under the global theme, “Acting Locally for Global Impact,” with the objective of raising awareness about biodiversity conservation and the importance of protecting our natural resources. The event featured inspiring addresses by the Principal, IQAC Coordinator, Convenor of the Environment Cell, Coordinator of the Eco-Club, and the Heads of the Departments of Botany and Zoology, who emphasized the significance of biodiversity conservation and individual responsibility towards environmental sustainability. The programme also included an interactive session with students, encouraging meaningful discussions and active participation. The event witnessed enthusiastic involvement from students, faculty members, and staff, making it a successful and impactful celebration.
