AWARENESS PROGRAMME ON HIV / AIDS & STI

The Red Ribbon Club (RRC) of PDUAM-Behali successfully organized a one-day “Awareness Programme on HIV/AIDS & STI” on October 15, 2025, as part of the Intensified IEC Campaign. The programme was held in collaboration with the NSS Unit, IQAC, and the District AIDS Control Society, and supported by the Assam State AIDS Control Society. The event aimed to educate the college community on prevention, detection, and mitigation strategies for HIV, AIDS, and other Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs). The program featured expert insights from the Chief Medical and Health Officer, Biswanath District, the HIV Counsellor from the ICTC cell, and the District Tuberculosis Officer of Biswanath District. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from approximately 200 attendees, comprising students and faculty members of PDUAM-Behali.
